Sophia Martinez-Badillo is an Electrical Engineering student at Texas A&M University specializing in computer software engineering and embedded autonomous systems with a passion for computer vision. At Duckweed Labs, she works on sensor-driven analytics, and secure embedded computing solutions, integrating Raspberry Pi platforms and microcontroller-based sensors. She also serves as a Research Assistant in Texas A&M's Advanced Vision and Learning Lab (AVLL), where she contributes to large-scale image annotations, learns about dataset curation and the development of machine learning algorithms.
